Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
By using myinstants.net you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Using the site
You can play, download and share the sounds and use the tools on this site for personal, non-commercial purposes such as memes, chats and entertainment. The site is provided free of charge and funded by advertising.
Rights in the content
Many sounds and videos are short clips from films, TV shows, games, music and online videos. Their rights belong to their respective owners; Myinstants.net does not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for how you use anything you download. For commercial or monetised use (for example in a monetised video or an advert), get permission from the rights owner or use material that comes with a licence.
Rights owners can ask for material to be removed; see DMCA and content removal.
Sounds you upload
To upload you need to sign in with a Google account. Only upload sounds you made or have the right to share, and only family-friendly ones: no adult, profane, hateful, drug, alcohol, gambling or religious content. You keep your rights in your uploads and give Myinstants.net a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, play, list and let visitors download and share them on the site, until you delete them.
We may hide or remove any upload, and suspend accounts that break these rules or receive valid removal requests. Sounds reported by several visitors are hidden until they are reviewed.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass, frighten or harm other people.
- Don't scrape the site or its files in bulk, or use automated tools that put excessive load on it.
- Don't try to interfere with the site's security or its advertising (for example by generating fake clicks or views).
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it working and accurate but don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or that every sound will play.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Myinstants.net is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or of material downloaded from it.
